We welcome article and photo submissions.

The fastest way to submit a story is to click the "General Inquiries" link found at the bottom of every page of PNNews.org.

We especially invite articles which lift up the mission and ministry of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

• Tell stories great or small which inspire or give thanks for your neighbors in the PC(USA) and our ecumenical, interfaith partners.
• Inspire others to participate in a mission project or start their own.
• Interview or write about someone who has inspired you.
• Describe an event or period of time which deepened your faith.

As we build this news site, more regional editors will come on board. Your work may be forwarded to an editor in your synod or presbytery, so please tell us the name of your presbytery or group in the article.

PNNews.org adheres to standards and practices of professional journalism, therefore some articles may be heavily edited. We may also ask you for additional information, proper attribution to your sources or permission from subjects in your photos.

We strongly encourage you to find another person to read your story to suggest any changes or corrections. We all need editors.

Photo details

We encourage you to send good, well-lighted photos. Please do not crop or reduce the size unless you are quite sure of the quality. If you do edit photos, the final dimension should be 469 pixels wide x ____ pixels (height is usually determined by the subject of the photo) at 72 dpi.

Each photo must have a caption and the name of the photographer (or entity they represent).

In photos including young people under 18, we try to avoid providing full names with any residential information in an effort to protect their identity. For example, if the church and small town of a young person is identified, we would usually limit identification to first names only in the caption or article.
